At a glance

We create and manage your ReefLifeLab account and keep your aquarium data available inside your profile.

We use your email address for account verification, security messages, password recovery and service communications related to your account.

We store the consent you give at registration, including the policy version, date/time and technical metadata needed to document that consent.

We do not use your data for marketing unless you separately and explicitly ask for it.

You can request access, correction or deletion by contacting support at info@reeflife.it.

1. Which data we process

We may process the display name you choose, your email address, your encrypted password, your account status, your email verification status, technical security metadata and the consent record connected to your registration.

2. Why we process it

We process your data to create your account, verify your email, allow you to log in securely, prevent abuse, provide the requested service and document the consent collected during registration.

3. Legal basis

The account registration flow is based on your request to create and use the service, combined with your explicit acknowledgement of this privacy notice and the processing necessary for registration and platform security.

4. Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account remains active and for any additional period necessary to comply with legal, security or fraud-prevention obligations. Consent records may be stored longer when needed to demonstrate compliance.

5. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction or objection, and you may contact us about the handling of your personal data at info@reeflife.it.

6. Registration consent record

When you tick the mandatory checkbox during signup, ReefLifeLab stores a consent log containing the notice version, date and time of acceptance, your email address and limited technical metadata needed to document the registration flow.
